As of 30 September 2026, Callbuddy is sold in every Fnac store in Belgium. Callbuddy is a phone case system designed in Belgium, built around one patented click that lets you attach a strap, a lanyard and future accessories to the same case. You can now see it, hold it and try the click in person before you buy. Next up: our first Callbuddy flagship store in Antwerp, opening later this year.
Step two starts today
Callbuddy is on the shelf in every Fnac in Belgium. That's big for us. Not because of the shelf space. Because a partner like Fnac looked at what we're doing and said: yes, we want this. That kind of trust does something to you as a founder. You start believing your own plan a bit more. And there is a plan.
Why a phone case needs to be seen in real life
Callbuddy sells online. It sells better once people have had it in their hands. That makes sense for a product built around a feeling. The click is the whole idea: one grid on the back of every case, and every accessory fits it. Strap, lanyard, and whatever we build next. You can read about it. But you understand it the moment you hear it click. So from the start, the idea was to also be where people actually shop.
Our three-step plan
- Online. Our own webshop in Belgium, the Netherlands, France and Germany, plus partners like Smartphonehoesjes.nl. It's going better than we expected, and it's what proved the demand.
- Retail. Today, with Fnac. Every Fnac in Belgium now carries Callbuddy, so you can try before you buy.
- Our own place. Later this year we open the first Callbuddy flagship store in Antwerp. A space built around the product, not just a shop with it on a shelf.
Alongside the flagship, we're launching custom cases for companies that want to give their people something they'll actually use.
What you'll find at Fnac
At Fnac you'll find the Callbuddy case with click-on strap, in our signature colours like Deep Marine, Coral Pop and Epic Black. Pick it up, press the click, swap the strap. That's the test.
What's next: the Callbuddy flagship in Antwerp
Later this year, Callbuddy opens its first own store in Antwerp. It won't be a shop with a shelf. It will be a space built around the click. More on that soon. Follow what we're building in the Lab.
