7. Advertising and measurement with Meta
If you accept marketing cookies, we use the Meta Pixel and the Meta Conversions API (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd., Dublin, Ireland) to measure how well our ads on Facebook and Instagram work and to show you ads that match your interests. Meta receives information about your visit to our website, such as the pages and products you viewed, items you added to your cart, when you start a checkout, your IP address, browser information and Meta cookie identifiers. If you have given us your email address (for example by signing up for our newsletter or saving a cart), we also send it to Meta in a scrambled (hashed) form so Meta can match the visit to a Meta account. We also share order data from our Shopify store with Meta in the same way.
Meta may transfer this data to the United States. Meta is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, and Meta's standard contractual clauses apply to these transfers.
The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time by opening the cookie settings at the bottom of any page and turning off marketing cookies; from then on no data is sent to Meta. You can also control how Meta uses data about your activity outside Facebook and Instagram in your Meta account settings under "Your activity off Meta technologies".
